The Ratings

    Top Dog's Top Books uses a five-star rating system with a difference. Books are ranked from 1-5, but each rank has it's own name.
    The ranks are:

1. Real Dog (A terrible book, best avoided by man and beast alike)
2. Dog's Breakfast (a fairly bad book, but okay if you're flooded in with nothing better to read)
3. Average Pooch (not really bad, but not really good either)
4. Good Dog (a fine book, certainly worth a look)
5. Noble Hound (an excellent book, stop wasting time reading this blog and go read this book)
